    3. Looking for my great-grandfather, James H. Duncan,s ancestor's. According to the following census records, I have this info: 1855 Tuscaloosa Co. AL State Census - James H. Duncan was Age 28 with 1 white male over age 21. (James H. b. 1827/28) 1 white female over age 21. 1 white male under age 21. 1 white female under age 21. 1880 Tuscaloosa Co., AL Federal Census - James H. Duncan was white male age 53. (b. 1827) in AL. Lucreita, white, female, age 40. (b. 1840) in AL. Chesley L., white, male, age 19, (b. 1861) in AL. Samual C., white, male, age 15, (b. 1865) in AL. Medora, white, female, age 9, (b. 1871) in AL. Ella, white, female, age 7, (b. 1873) in AL. Elizabeth, white, female, age 4, (b. 1876) in AL. Rachel Ann, white, female, age 1, (b. 1879) in AL. (my grandmother). (Note: There was one more child, a son, Newburn, who was b. on Sept 12, 1880 after the above census was taken.) According to Tuscaloosa Co., AL marriage records, James H. Duncan and Lucreita Ann Cooper were married on July 23, 1859. He bought land and they lived in north Tuscaloosa Co., AL in the New Lexington Community area. I would be very grateful if you would check your records to see if you have any info on this James H. Duncan - parents. siblings or any other info. I am beginning to think that he just "fell out of the sky". Can't even "bump" this brick wall. "Still shaking the Family Tree in search of Great-Grandpa, James H. Duncan." ANY help will be appreciated. Hildred Carlson
