If anyone has a copy of the 1850 census, I'd surely appreciate a look in the 1850 Census for Tuscaloosa County for John BOSWELL b. cir 1790 in SC, wife is Flora. The index on the Tuscaloosa GenWeb site doesn't show him under this spelling but does show a BOZWELL on pages 203a and 250a. Thanks in advance, Ed Waller

It appears that the only Boswell/Bozwell on p. 203a is a Margaret Bozwell, age 17 or 19, b AL, in the household of James Mitchell (family and dwelling 130). On page 250, there is one Bozwell family, with the following members : Family and dwelling 822: Flora Bozwell, age 57, b SC, unable to read & write Harriett Bozwell, age 34, b SC, unable to read & write Martha Bozwell, age 19, b AL Hope this helps!
