    3. Hi, Gail. You're welcome. No, there is no shame in being mental ill, From what i was told about my great grandmother being in Bryce, she felt so secure there, that she never wanted to leave, (to i was told that my great grandfather may have been mean to her, havent been confirm, my grandmother wrote about her father being a very good father, of course most of her and sister and brothers were scattered to different relatives, while mother was in Bryce. really became ill after having her last child, I would think she had that Post Partimum Depression (PPD) i think i said this right. and one of her son's was born kind of disfigured, and had a mine of child has he gotten older, but i was told he was pretty smart, i would guess, no thought he couldnt learn so, why bother teaching him, but my grandmother went to livingston college to become a teacher, and she had taught him a few things.....he too was in Bryce for being disfigured and mind of a child......I was told that my great grandmother had fallen when she was pregnant with him....that is how he became the way he was.... My grandmother spent time in Bryce, she lost a 5 year daughter in a fire. and never really over came it......she went in after her husband died in 1969 - early 1970's.....her daughter died in 1930's.... I am hoping to get my father and my aunt to go with me and help me to optain some medical records of my grandmother, brother and mother, to see what they were treated for..... kim ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, March 02, 2002 3:27 PM Subject: [ALTUSCAL] Re: ALTUSCAL-D Digest V02 #29 > Thanks KM, > > Thanks for posting the Bryce Hospital Graves.
