I'm researching William Moore, whose CW Muster Roll record shows the following: Signed up for 1 year with the Texas 2nd Regiment Cavalry on April 17, 1865 (transferred from another regiment) in New Orleans, LA. Born in Chambers, Ala. Age 23 Eyes Gray; hair Dark. Complexion Dark; height 5 ft. 9 in. If the roll is correct, he would have been born in 1842 in Chambers, Tuscaloosa Co., AL.
