I'm trying to find information concerning my family that came to Tuscaloosa from VA/TN. I obtained a death certificate for my g-grandfather William Dean. He died in 1943. I tried to get one for my g-grandmother Frances Fugett Dean who died in 1965, but they were unable to locate one for her. I thought it was strange since she died more recently. My g-grandparents lived in Brookwood and are buried at West Brookwood cemetery. I am at a dead end. I cannot locate his parents(David A. Dean and Sarah Kilgore) or where he was born.
