Roscoe Duncan was a Trustee in the Calvery Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, AL on Dec. 14,1930. I have recently acquired a copy of the church bulletin for that date. Roscoe was listed as a Church Trustee and two children, Hugh and Virginia Duncan were listed as members of the Junior Choir. I assume they were children, grandchildren, or neice and nephew in Roscoe's family. I would be grateful for communication with someone in this family or genealogical info regarding this family. Trying to find relatives of my great-grandfather, James H. Duncan born 1827 in Tuscaloosa Co. AL. He married on July 28, 1859 to Lucretia Cooper, d/o Robert Cooper. Looking for any information (other than my own) that may provide clues as to where and when these two got married. Appears that they may have gotten married in the mid 1830's, living just south of the city, possibly on the Greenville? road. Cheers from the Rockies, Dick Stewart
