I have recently found that a J.T. YERBY was the compiler of a Genealogical Chart for the JESSE WOODRUFF HINTON family of Tuscaloosa, AL. This chart was probably compiled in the 1950's. It is unknown whether or not this J.T. Yerby was a relative of the Hinton's. There must have been a kinship or a close freindship for him to have furnished genealogical info about the Jesse Woodruff Hinton family. I am trying to find more info about J. T. Yerby to determine if I have him in my Yerby family records and where he places on the YERBY FAMILY TREE. I am a Yerby family researcher. I have found two John Thomas Yerby's (Jr. and Sr.) who lived in Tuscaloosa, however, they do not fit the time period for when the chart was compiled. I do have a copy of a Marriage License for JAMES THOMAS YERBY and MAY FLORENCE CROSBY in Greene Co., AL dated April 25, 1920. I have no other info on this James Thomas Yerby. I am wondering if he was the compiler of the chart. I would be very grateful for info about the identity of the J.T. Yerby who compiled the chart or any info about James Thomas Yerby who married May Florence Crosby. Sincerely, Hildred Carlson
