Hi Robin, I too am researching LINDSEYs in Tuscaloosa County. My kin are Mary Catherine LINDSEY (1877-1950), her parents were James Franklin LINDSEY (1853-1937) and Roena PATE (cir 1860-?). I believe James Franklin's parents were John M (perhaps Monroe) LINDSEY (cir 1830-?) and wife Catherine (married circa 1853). See any connections?
