    1. [ALTUSCAL] Eggers Family
    2. Over the last couple of years I have corresponded with a few folks who were researching the EGGER(S) line and I thought I'd pass this along via the list because I no longer have email addresses for them. My mother, who is 90 years old but sharp as a tack, was doing a little reminiscing and just happened to mention that Claude Egger who married into our WARD line and was probably born ca 1880, had 2 brothers named Rushton and Clearman Eggers. She also said either Rushton Eggers or Clearman Eggers had a son named Dayton, and that they all lived in Columbus, MS. I am not researching EGGERS except for the incidental connection, but thought this might be helpful as far as census records and location was concerned for those who are. Evelyn Leslie

    3. Just out of curiosity I looked up Eggers on the 1880 Mississippi census CDs. I found 68 individuals listed. Every single one was living in Caledonia, Lowndes, Mississippi. I did not find a listing for Claude, Rushton, or Clearman. I hope this helps some one.
