Benjamin Stewart, middle initial not known, was a probable brother of Larkin, Reuben, Solomon, Charles, William, and Johanna Stewart. He was probably in Lincoln County, TN; relocated with the others to Marion / Fayette County, was probably in Bibb Co, AL in 1818 helping build a road, received land from Solomon Stewart in Tuscaloosa Co (land was in Northport area, I believe); had at some time married Nancy Pullam/Pulliam, and is seen by family oral/tradition to have moved to MS. He is assessed to have been born in NC in late 1790s. If he followed the tradition of his preseumed father Charles, and his brothers, he would have been a farmer and a landowner. One wild and unverifiable assessment is that he died in MS in the 1840's (his presumed brother Solomon, died in MS in 1852, and probably not related).
