I have a large file on the Hamner family that was in Tuscaloosa county. A lot of those family members moved to Sebastain county, Arkansas along about 1880 to 1900, the same time that some of my Roberts family members moved from Tuscaloosa county there also. I think that these families lived somewhere around the town of Elrod in Tuscaloosa county. I would suspect that more of the Hamner family members might have made that migration about the same time. I recently found a whole generation of Roberts that I didn't know about that migrated to Arkansas and there is Hamner and Roberts family that married and moved to Arkansas. I have a list of those family members in a file on my computer. One of those mentioned is Nancy Elizabeth HAMNER Born 5 Jan 1849 Place: Tuscaloosa County, Alabama (wife of Hiram James Roberts) Hiram James Roberts served with Company D 12th Alabama Regiment during the civil war. Nancy Elizabeth HAMNER census data Census[10]: 6 Jul 1860 Place: Raleigh, Pickens County, Alabama Census[11]:13 Aug 1870 Place: Tuscaloosa County, Alabama Census[4]: 16 Jun 1880 Place: Tuscaloosa County, Alabama Census[12]:15 Jun 1900 Place: Cole Township, Sebastian County, Arkansas Census[6]: 18 Apr 1910 Place: Sebastian County, Arkansas Died: 30 Aug 1932 Place: Hackett, Sebastian County, Arkansas Buried[13]: Place: Old Union Cemetary, Hackett, Sebastian County, Arkansas -- Take care, James Roberts
