List and others, I am tardy in conveying appreciation of Mr. Sullivan's concerns re: the records on the 7th floor. I have read his fervent messages explaining the situation and do implore the ones who can make a difference, to make an effort to do so. Tis' a sad thought that documents and information anywhere might be forever lost, but in such a historical area established by our ancestors, it would be a tragedy in my thinking. It has been a dream of mine to come to Alabama. Age may prevent it but I pray those who are so dedicated to preserving what written materials there are on our forebears, will find a way to do so.
