I have found that my 2d great grandfather was guardian of their son Adam when the died. Have been told that the elder Mrs Burns was sister to Humphrey B. Rogers, my 2d great grandfather. They lived just about where Shelton Comm Coll is but just a little north of it just passed the railroad tracks. Are you related to me? later, Beasey, Jr. --- [email protected] wrote: > is this the same BURNS CEMETERY of our ancestors??? > > > Burns Cemetery between Alabama Highway 69 and Old > Greensboro Road, near > Shelton State Community College. > > there is an article in the tuscaloosa news internet > this morining of them > exhuming of graves to make room for housing > developement.... > www.tuscaloosanews.com > > > If it is, My ancesters, LEWIS, COLBERT, HOWARD are > in that Cemetery.
