Noted as one of the greatest curve ball pitchers.And later pitching for Florence -Wilson Dam team and the Muscle Shoals nine composed of Tennessee Valley Authority employees. Survivors,wife,Mrs. Edna Morton,mother Mrs. Mary Morton,several brothers and sisters. Paper states burial held in Vernon,Al.
