HOGAN/HOCUTT (?) - FINDLEY/FINLEY - THOMPSON AMBROSE "AMBERS" (A. P.) FINDLEY/FINLEY, b. 1842-43, GA, son of Evan and Elizabeth FINDLEY/FINLEY/FENLEY married HELEN HOGAN or HOCUTT approximately 1865. They had the following children: SARAH E., b. 1866, and EVIN/EVAN, b. 1867. Helen must have died either with the birth of EVIN/EVAN or shortly thereafter. On Dec. 20, 1868, A. P. FINDLEY/FINLEY married NARCISSA JANE "NANCY" THOMPSON HOCUTT, widow of MANASSAS HOCUTT. They had the following children: JOSEPH, b. 1870; ALABAMA, b. 1872; OVAZINE "OVIE", b. 1877, and MILES W., born 1881. Narcissa Jane "Nancy" Thompson Hocutt and Manassas Hocutt had a daughter RUTHA LOUGENIA "LULA" HOCUTT. On Dec. 17, 1882, "LULA" married Wm. "LEE" CAIN at the home of her grandparents ASA and ELIZABETH THOMPSON. She was the granddaughter of NANCY L. HOCUTT. Is anyone familiar with this family?
