The John Norris/ William Wilson families of Tuscaloosa, Alabama will be having a family reunion on Sunday, May 30, 2004. at Nazareth Church, near Binion Creek at Samantha, Alabama. Hours are from 10 a.m. untiil 3 p.m. John Norris came to Tuscaloosa County as a pioneer in 1818 from Laurens County, South Carolina and Caldweld County, Kentucky. He preached the gospel, farmed, built Nazareth Freewill Baptist Church, and raised a large family. There are still many Norrises living here today. Many intermarried with William Wilson's descendants. All descendants, family and friends are welcome. We'll have food, fun and fellowship. Come and learn more about your family, heritage and heroes.
