The subject of copyrighting crops up often among folks doing research. It was brought up at the last society meeting. Thanks to Kay Koonce for sending me this url to find an article on the subject. <http://www.interment.net/column/commentery/19990915,htm> I hope you enjoy it and benefit from it.Most libraries have a book on the subject.Laws change from time to time and it is hard to keep up with new ones. Kay and Jim are listing the graves at the HOLLIS-BOLIN cemetery near Sulligent, Al. It needs work.So if you have relations there, you might want to help in some way. Maybe we will have an update after the land owners are contacted and more info comes in. Jean Carr Always inerested in Your LINKS!

I'm sorry. This is not a genealogy question even though I am into genealogy as it involves Tuscaloosa County very much. I have gotten into collecting milk bottles from the various dairies in Tuscaloosa County and the surrounding counties as a hobby. I have found that I know very little (actually nothing) about the histories of these dairies and I don't know where I might go for help. So I thought of you as I know there are some good historians on this site when it comes to Tuscaloosa and Tuscaloosa County. Does anyone on the list know anything about the history of the Colonial, Delview, Perry Pride and Southern dairies that were in Tuscaloosa at one time. I would like to know anything that anyone might be willing to share about them such as when were they in existance, where were they located, who owned them, when did they go out of business, etc. Also, I would like to know if there were more dairies in Tuscaloosa that bottled milk. Thanks in advance for your help as any light you might be able to shed on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
