Hi Charlotte, Thank you for the info. See also my entry re James and Czarina's child in Aikin Cemetery on the web. There's also in Tuscaloosa records a probate or deed or otherwise an entry from her brother Rufus Stewart wherein he deeds 'sister' Czarina Aikin a slave. Czarina is Czarina M. STEWART, my great great aunt. They were married either just prior to or just after her dad Solomon Stewart and family moved from Perry County to Wahalak/Scooba, Kemper Co, MS. James L. G. Aikin shows up in the 1840 census for Kemper, next to Solomon, and we're still trying to figure out exactly when and where they were married. Cheers from Colorado, Dick Stewart =========================================== James L. G. Aiken Brother of John Gaston Aiken, his will is dated 15 July 1843 and lists his wife Czarina M.
