    2. I have several relatives buried at Old Warrior Cemetery, and I would like to know where it is. I am not sure if it is in Walker, Jefferson, or Tuscaloosa, but it is in the vicinity of where these counties meet. My understanding is that it is very hard to get to. Travis Wilson Gilbert, AZ

    3. A couple of summers ago, I set out to find this cemetery because I was told that Abel Pennington, d. 1819, was buried there. We did not find the cemetery. It is way out in the boonies. If you find it, I would love to know how to get there. The next time I go, I will take a guide along. However, the Old Warrior Cemetery is listed (partially) on line at the following URL: http://www.rootsweb.com/%7Ealtuscal/cemetery/warrior.html Directions to the cemetery are included. An index for all these cemeteries is at: http://www.rootsweb.com/%7Ealtuscal/cemetery/index.html Other old Tuscaloosa County Cemeteries are online at the following URL: http://www.rootsweb.com/~altuscal/cemetery/beaseyhendrixjr/ Happy hunting.
