Northeast Alabama Genealogical Society's 2013 Ancestor Swap Meet Senior Activity Center 623 Broad Street, Gadsden, Alabama 35901 April 20, 2013 9:00 AM until 3:30 PM J. Mark Lowe will be our speaker as we remember the 200th anniversary of the Forgotten War, The Second War for American Independence, Mr. Madison's War, The War of 1812. We will look at all the ways that this war affected the United States and the State of Alabama. Join us for information, fun, vendors and door prizes. A hot lunch is included in the registration fee. Gadsden Public Library will have coffee, juice and donuts, Saturday morning. YOU MIGHT EVEN FIND A NEW COUSIN OR TWO! There is a registration fee for both the Ancestor Swap Meet and the Friday night DNA Workshop There will be several events taking place prior to the Ancestor Swap Meet and with the exception of the Friday night workshop, these events will be free.
