His father was Solomon Ray born about 1775 in Virginia and who died in 1813 in Jasper co Ga. Solomon Ray Jr married Jane Church in 1829 in Henry co Ga. They were in Meriwether co Ga in 1830 and in Tallapoosa co Al by about 1836. I believe King Solomon ray was in the same area about 1840. I have not been able to make a connection between them.
