I was able to find the location of the third piece of property that Solomon Lacks received in Talapoosa co Al.He received that property in 1851. He died in 1854. All three properties were 40.11 acres. Were these land grants and if so why only 40 acres. The land grants in Gerogia were usually for much more acreage.
