I did not even know Solomon Lacks bought a third property in 1851. Were teh firstg two properties he received land grants or did he buy the property? Also, was the tghird propertyh a purchase or a grant? Where was it located and could you tell me how yhou were able to find that purchase. I know Jane,wife of Solomon Lacks, was still living after he died in 1854. I read his will which is posted on the internet. He left Jane one of the properties but I forget which propertyh it was. As I mentioned I am trying to find when Jane Lacks died and where she was buried. I could not find a will for her although she had sons living in Tallapoosa co Al in the 1850's and the 1860's. If she was living on the land Solomon Lacks left her when she died and if she did not have a will what would have happened to the land? If I could find what happended to the land Solomon Lacks left Jane in his will then maybe it would help determine when she died. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I will try to find the will again for Solon Lacks and see which property he left Jane. I noticed tgwo of tghe properties were for about 40 acres.
