    1. Unbelieveble
    2. I cannot believe that in this day and time individuals could bring to the public this statement. Just what water do they walk on? I have relatives that lived in Tallapoosa County from 1850 till 1868. The Rev. Early Greathouse moved from Georgia to Alabama with his twelve children. Four of his sons fought in the CSA and three of them died in that war.Several Greathouse Family members are buried near Dadsville. The Rev. Greathouse was a Baptist minister at the Troup County Line Baptist Church before moving to Alabama. The genealogy of the Greathouse family shows that Early Greathouse was the son of Sarah Greathouse who was not married. The Rev Early Greathouse was born in 1810. Can you explain to me how the actions of my Great, Great, Great, Great Grandmother has any bearing on a book to be published in 1999? Is the "sins" to be carried forward forever? How many of the members of the "committee" can guarantee that their relatives were totally virtuous and without sin. I would appreciate some better explaination or reason for this decision. I had planned to complete a brief history of the Greathouse Family for your publication, its would seem to be a waste of time. Please advise. Sincerely, Early Reed Greathouse
