In reply to the e-mails related to "unbelieveable", where did you get the idea that the "Heritage Book" folks would delete material on someone's parentage as you've interpreted it? While the "illegitimate" definition is listed as the 3rd one in the dictionary I use, the major definition relates to "lacking authenticity or validity; counterfeit; false". The next one relates to "constituting a forgery or interpolation". So I have to assume that these are reasonable people and used the "spurious" term to fit the most often used definition of the term--to keep someone from putting in information that is obviously untrue, or completely without any basis in known fact. I'll submit my story on the Calhouns and look forward to seeing yours on whatever your family is, even if someone had a kid and didn't get married! I want a grandchild so badly now that I'd be willing for one of my daughters to have one even if she wasn't married to the father--as long as he was a good father!--!
