There is a Michael SUMMERTAIN listed in the Tallapoosa 1850 Census, page 74, TWP 21. Can anyone help me with info on him? I do not have ages or children for him. Any info or lookup will be greatly appreciated. SUMMERTAIN is a possible variant of the SUMMERLIN spelling. I'm trying to connect my ancestor Glisson SUMMERLIN to a Michael "Mack" SUMMERLIN or SUMMERELL b. ca 1767 NC and s/o Jacob and Charity GLISSON SUMMERELL (VA>Duplin Co. NC 1742-?.)
