Am seeking additional information on the following family. William Johnson HUMPHREY b. 21 Oct 1821 in Ga and d. 20 Mar 1879 in Cass Co, TX. William married first Nancy E. MILNER 30 Oct 1845 in Tallapoosa Co, AL. She was b. 4 Oct 1830 in AL? and d. 22 Feb 1853 in Tallapoosa Co, AL (might have been child birth). They had 5 children. Maltilda Ann b 1846 in AL and died on 17 Sept 1928 in Cass Co, TX. Thomas D. b 15 Feb 1848 in AL and died 15 Jul 1875 in Cass Co, TX William Jesse b 30 Sep 1849 in AL and died 17 Dec 1930 in Morris Co. TX David H. b 4 Apr 1851 in AL and died 11 Sep 1927 in Cass Co, TX Mary Elizabeth b 1853 in AL and died 30 Dec 1020 in Cass Co, TX William then married Sarah English WHEELER 22 Nov 1853 in AL. She was b 25 May 1830 in GA and died 17 Aug 1899 in Cass Co, TX. They had the following children. Nancy Jane b. 1855 in AL and died aft 1828 in TX Sarah Eldie b. 1857 in MS and died bef 1927 in TX George Hezeliah b. 17 June 1861 in Madison Co, TX and died bef 1827. Mollie b 1864 in TX and died after 1928 in TX Johnny (Adelbert Johnson) b 15 Jul 1867 in Madison Co, TX Robert b abt 1871 in TX. Somewhere a long time ago, I had written down that William's mother may have been a JOHNSON (hince the JOHNSON in the names]. I am not sure on this and have been trying to piece together this mystery. If anyone has any info on the HUMPHREYs, MILNERs, WHEELERs, or JOHNSONs between the 1820s-1855, I would appreciate hearing from you.
