According to this record her father is a George Knight. There is a Tallapoosa death record for George W. Knight, SR d 14 Mar 1817 age 84 of La Grippe. I am researching family of Calvary F. Knight. His, son Henry D. Knight, had a dau named Georgia Ann Knight. This Georgia Ann married a Finch. Both she and her spouse are buried at Red Ridge Methodist Cemetery. There is in the Tallapoosa CO Death Records mention of a Knight burying ground. Minnie Knight Pruitt, dau of a George Knight, and a George Phillips (d 30 Jul 1910) son of M. E. Phillips and Ella Knight Phillips (9 Mar 1914) are bu there. Ella Knight Phillips is the dau of a George Knight. I'd like to know more about these Tallapoosa Knights.
