I am seeking more info on the marriage Of Henry Jackson Taunton b.1838 Ga. and Martha J. Crow B.unk. The 1860 census shows them living together in or near New Site or beat 3 Tallapoosa Co. One of their children, Sarah Cooper Taunton (my grmother m. David Newman) The only other reference I have is possibly another child that was murdered in 1937 by a fellow named Crow, possibly a cousin, over a cotton deal. He would have been an old man at the time. Would like to find the remainder of the children from this TAUNTON/CROW marriage and more on both their parents, esp. Martha J Crow.
