I have just found reference to a Canaan Cem in Tallapoosa Co, AL. Can anyone verify that there is such a place? I have a note that says my Nancy (MILNER) HUMPHREY may be buried there. She was born 4 Oct 1830 in AL? and died in Tallapoosa Co, AL on 22 Feb 1853. Her husband was William Johnson HUMPHREY. He married and moved away and is buried in Cass Co, TX. If someone has info or listings for this cemetery, could you please look up this name and whether there are anyother MILNERs, HUMPHREYs, or JOHNSONs buried there. Thanks in advance.
