REPOSTED: (In my original post, I erroneously listed the marriage between Sarah Jane MEZICK and Martin CROW as being in 1946. It should have been listed as 1846.) Can anyone place Dickerson D. MEZICK who married Sally BEDSWORTH (or BROWN) ca 1816 possibly in MD. They are believed to have left MD after Dickerson escaped from jail on a kidnapping charge and fled into GA. Their children included: Wyley, Mattie, Jane, James, and Harriett. The child, Jane, is believed to have been Sarah Jane MEZICK, born ca 1827, who married Martin CROW in Tallapoosa County, AL in 1846. Her brother, James, was living in the home with them in the 1850 Tallapoosa County census. David
