Emaline Barnett b. 1835 married Jackson Boyd who was killed in the Civil War. She was listed with father and siblings in the 1870 Coosa Co, Ala census, but I believe they were probably living on the Tallapoosa County line and were listed by the Coosa County census taker. She had sons Daniel, John W., and Leonard J. Boyd. In 1880 Tallapoosa Co census she had not remarried and had sons Buck and Leonard living with her. What happened to this family? My great-grandfather Starling Willis Barnett was her brother.
