I'm sorry to get your hopes up high. I thought if Pleasant had lived in the Jackson Parish area (which apparently he did according to your records), that his name (or his wife's name) might appear in the Jackson Parish Book (brown), copywright 1982 published by the Jackson Parish Chamber of Commerce. His name was not in the book; however, not many of my relatives were either, when I know for a fact they helped found some of the surrounding churches around Chatham, LA. Keep looking and posting his name. Also, it seems I remember some reference on the internet that if you thought your relatives were from Northern Georgia (and possibly Ala) to look also in the Carolinas. It takes time to research all this stuff out, but that is what is fun about genealogy -- one giant puzzle! Good luck. Cheryl
