I will be making a unexpected trip to Tallapoosa county tomorrow, Thur. March 25. I have never been before so could someone tell me what libraries would be most helpful for genealogy. Also, my ancestors William D. and Malinda Walton Dunn lived in Dudleyville according to 1860 and 1870 census records. There is no Dudleyville on my map. Does this place no longer exist? If not, does anyone know where it was located? What existing town was it near? Thanks in advance for any help. Vickie Garmon
