Whoever is in charge of the Tallapoosa List needs to take action against the SPAM being mailed to this list. This is not a commercial mailing list for companies selling services on the internet or anything else. I have traced the sender and reported to their postmaster and the Federal Trade Commission. If the webmaster of ALTALLAP-L@rootsweb.com and rootsweb are unable to make this a closed list they need to advise members aware of their lack of control so that people like me can unsubscribe. I joined this list for genealogical reasons not to receive Unsolicited Commercial Email.
