Also have found a Robert Hendrick, who purchased land, St. Stephens Meridian,( where's this?) Conecuh Co, AL, 3-1-1824. Any know him or his family? Could a couple if someone's please do look-ups on Marriage's in the above Co's plus Clay Co, AL for Robert Hendrix/Hendrick who married any woman before 1857? please. Since 1826 there's been a Robert in each generation so perhaps theres a connection to Robert Hendrick, 1824, Land owner. My GGGrandfather, Robert J. Hendrix was b. 1826, __?, SC, m. Rutha___?, b.1836, _? co. AL. His father was also b.?.___?, SC., don't know who either married. His father could have bought the land, then went back for the family. My Robert SC>AL>Union Co AR. My 75 year old Aunt, says the early Hendrix's around Hot Springs, AR are kin. My Robert Hendrix, moved from Tallapoosa, AL>AR 1889. His family is on the 1880 Elmore co. Census. dist 67.
