Matilda C. Holley is the daughter of John J. Holley and Elizabeth Ann Morgan. John J. Holley is the son of Howell and Elizabeth Ann Holley. John was born in Georgia; Howell, his father was born in Tennessee. Elizabeth Ann Morgan was the daughter of Jesse Morgan and Elizabeth Arnold. The Morgans came to Tallapoosa County from Morgan County, Georgia. I have a listing of all of John J. Holley's siblings. If I can be of further help, let me know.
