I have copies of the Tap Roots books that have the Tallapoosa Co marriage records amd I cannot find but ONE marriage for Wesley Lee Greer. I think those of you who think there was another (or the same) Wesley Lee Greer who married Susie Wineford Jarrell should order a copy of the marriage license and see what it says. I believe there was a typing error about the Susie W. Jarrell. Remember that there are two dates on the marriage licenses - the date it was applied for and then the date the minister signs as to when the marriage was performed. There can always be a typo error - especially reading the old records. I have been doing that for over 50 years and have almost ruined my eyes. ALWAYS order a copy of the original to be sure you have the exact names and dates. Joseph Greer and wife Priscilla are my ancestors. I am descended from their daughter Rachel who married John Davis.
