I have never found a marriage date or record for William Walker and Nancy Conine, only William Walker and Nancy Connell and yet some people use that date, Jan. 26, 1803 in Green Co., Ga. as the marriage date for William and Nancy Conine. I have found records on Ancestry.com posted by the Connell descendants claiming William Walker as their ancestor and then the Conines have posted their family trees claiming William Walker as their ancestor. Yet, both claim that marriage date. I find that hard to be true that two different couples could be married on that same date and only one couple is in the register. I have found records of both Conines and Connells in Greene Co., GA and several other counties in GA.. As I said, I'm up against a brick wall.
