Buried at Langley Cemetery, Tallapoosa Co. Pat. G. Father - Jake (Buck) Merritt Pat. G. Mother Mary (Polly) Blackwelder Merritt Mat. G. Father Jeremiah Burnett and Mat. G.Mother Sarah Anne Haralson Aldora Elizabeth Henderson was the daughter of William T. & Julia Lumpkin (Henderson) Henderson Born May 22, 1880 and died March 6, 1945 Buried at Langley Cemetery also. P. G. Father John Henderson Pat. G.Mother Julia Anne (Harper) Henderson Mat. G. Father Benjamin William Henderson Mat. G. Mother Lavinia (Berry) Henderson. Children were: James W. Merritt B. 1898 Died in Infancy - Sarah Opal Merritt (I knew her) Born 1899, married William Thomas Burnett - Osie Lumpkin Merritt B 1902 and died 1973 married to Grady Marvin Henderson (knew them) - Charles Estis Merritt born 1904 Married Sarah Tom McKamie and last Thomas Bunyan Merritt born 1907 and married Olgie Peeples.
