However, I am looking for the grave of your Thomas Youngsett's grandfather, Youngsett Dendy born 8-3-1789 in Lauren's Co. SC. He migrated to Tallapoosa Co. Al around 1840 near what is now Alexander City. His son, Thomas Daniel Dendy, migrated up to Sand Mountain and helped found New Hope Church, where he and his wife Penelope Lassiter Dendy are buried. They are my great, great grandparents. Thomas Daniel's son, William Jasper Dendy named his oldest son Thomas Youngsett Dendy. This is who is buried at New Hope. I am also descended from the Lassiter family through Penelope. Can you tell me who your grandmother descends from? I am interested in finding out more about the Lasseter family.
