Hi Would you know if there were any newspapers in Tallapoosa co Al before 1860? My ancestor was Solomon Ray who left Tallapoosa in the 1850's. His mother Jane Ray Farrow was married to Solomon Lacks. He died in I believe about 1854. She died after that but I am not sure when. Any references to these people that you know of would be appreciated.
