    3. Thanks for the additional info, Jeff. Our Bryants were from SC and intermarried with MATHIS, PENNINGTON and MASTERS, amongst others. Our William appears to have been in Autauga Co. prior to coming to Talladega/Tallapoosa area. They were affiliated with the Tallasahatchie Bapt. Church according to 1846 records. If this is "our" William, he went by the name Dave and I didn't see a William Augustus BRYANT in my notes. Thanks again, Evelyn

    3. Evelyn - I'm a Bryant researcher who has hit a brick wall. My g-g-father was Thomas Jefferson (aka T.J or Jeff according to census records) who was born abt 1827 in GA(unknown location). Married first to a Sarah Ann E. Day and secondly to Lucinda June Sessions ('I'm a product of the Sessions marriage). Thomas and his wives all lived in Chambers Cty or Tallapoosa Cty Ala and are found in 1850,1860 and 1870 census. I do not know where they are buried or when they died. In addition I do not know Thomas's parents names but suspect a William Bryant on page 7 of the 1840 Chambers Cty Ala census to be either a parent or perhaps a sibling. Does the name Thomas Jeff or his "aka's" strike a note or do you have information on the William in the 1840 Chambers Cty record? I suspect Thomas parents might have come from S.C but am unable to find any clues in the Spartenburg records I've seen. Any help will be sincerly appreciated. Please contact me direct at rlbtwo@cox.net Thanks Robert (Bob) Bryant ----- Original Message ----- From: "Evelyn" <esleslie@bellsouth.net> To: <altallap@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, October 21, 2006 8:28 AM Subject: [ALTALLAP] Wm.
