Bryant born(de) 29 January 1830. Jeff, Do you have the information on whose family bible(s) the transcribed information was taken from? We have a Wm. Bryant in the same time frame in Tallapoosa Co. area that we are trying to place. Thanks. Evelyn Leslie esleslie@bellsouth.net

    3. Evelyn, According to the transcript: "The Bible is in the possession of Henry Neill Segrest, Tuskegee, Alabama." I failed to record which book I copied this info from, but I believe the title to be something like "Southern Family Bible Records". Which William are you searching for? I am descended from William Augustus Bryant, born in Oglethorpe Co, GA in 1844. He lived in Tallapoosa Co most of his life. He had at least two wives, and 13 children -- all but two living fairly long lives. He died in Birmingham in 1914. If this is your William, I have lots to share about him. - Jeff - On 10/20/06, Evelyn <esleslie@bellsouth.net> wrote: > > Jeff wrote: > 3. 2. I am not sure where you read this but there was published the Segrest Saga. Could that have been it. My copy is not available at this time. If you think that may be it, I will try to find the book. 3. Anne, Thanks for the reply. I know that that was not the book. It was specifically a book of transcripts of Bible family records. I just can't recall the title. - Jeff - On 10/20/06, rolltide@simpledsl.com <rolltide@simpledsl.com> wrote: > > I am not sure where you read this but there was published the Segrest > Saga. > Could that have been it.
