I had already seen a copy of his will if that is the record that mentions his wife Jane and his brothers in Virginia. It would seem that his wife Jane left a will since he left property for her. It would seem she would have left a will or letters of administration. Thanks,Ross

    1. Wesley Lee Greer b.1863 buried Camp Hill Cemetery
    2. Janice Craft
    3. I have copies of the Tap Roots books that have the Tallapoosa Co marriage records amd I cannot find but ONE marriage for Wesley Lee Greer. I think those of you who think there was another (or the same) Wesley Lee Greer who married Susie Wineford Jarrell should order a copy of the marriage license and see what it says. I believe there was a typing error about the Susie W. Jarrell. Remember that there are two dates on the marriage licenses - the date it was applied for and then the date the minister signs as to when the marriage was performed. There can always be a typo error - especially reading the old records. I have been doing that for over 50 years and have almost ruined my eyes. ALWAYS order a copy of the original to be sure you have the exact names and dates. Joseph Greer and wife Priscilla are my ancestors. I am descended from their daughter Rachel who married John Davis. Wesley Lee Greer is also descended from this Joseph Greer line. Janice Barnett Craft

    3. If you have access to Heritage Quest, under PERSI click on Periodicals and enter Tap Roots. This will give you the index for the articles contained in quite a few years of volumes, starting with October 1963 and going through July 2002. It also gives you repositories for these volumes so you can locate the one nearest you and also the price for ordering copies an article once you locate which volume, year, etc. Hope this helps.........
