    3. For instance, in Alabama, I typed Pockrus in the Patentee space and then look at it under Genealogical. Then I printed it to the screen and I have the original document to look at! Both of David Pockrus patents are in and I now have copies signed by Presidents Andrew Jackson and the other by President Buchanan. Helene http://www.glorecords.blm.gov

    3. Eliza Kimbro / Kimbrough was born in Tallapoosa Co. in 1810. Her mother's name was Polly, b. in NC around 1785. Any ideas who her father was?? Siblings?? Polly's maiden name?? We're stumped! Eliza m. Benjamin Perry in 1829 in Montgomery Co, AL, then moved back to Tallapoosa Co. (in the 1830-1840 period?) before leaving for Bastrop Co., Texas in 1849. 3. Hi! I'm writing to find out if you have had success and/or complaints about Granny4you? I sent in a request. After a few weeks I received a notice from them that they found what I wanted and asked that I send about fifteen dollars, which I did. No response. I sent an e-mail asking the status of my research. No answer. Just wondering if others had similar experiences. Thanks! 1. King/Lamberth
    2. LynnMKing
    3. I have been seeking information concerning The King and Lamberth family who were in Tallapoosa County, AL. Here is a brief listing of what I have: I. William S. King b. 1822 GA d. ? married 9/22/1841 Cass Co., GA (now Bartow Co.,) Rhoda Ann Fitts b. 1822 Elbert Co., GA (I have more ancestors of Fitts line). II. John Oliver King b. 1844 GA d. ? married 1869 AL ? Margaret Jane Lamberth b.1844 AL d. 1880's in Tallapoosa Co, AL. III. William Edwin King b. 1870 Cleburne or Tallapoosa Co., AL d. 12/1919 Chatham Co., GA married 1912? GA Mamie Beck Everett b. 1888 Washington Co., GA d. 1966 Trousdale Co., TN IV. William Edward King b. 11/23/1918 Savannah, GA d. 1964 Jacksonville FL. (This is my Father.) I have plenty of information on the Lamberth's but here is brief on Margaret Jane Lamberth King's parents. I. Edwin W. Lamberth, Jr. married to Susan Ann White in Russell CO., AL in 1844 or so. II. Margaret Jane Lamberth and John Oliver King had three sons; the afore mentioned William Edwin, then John Oliver King (II) and George King. I don't have info in fornt of me, but one was born in 1873 in Arkansas and one was born in 1875 in Louisiana. The census of 1880 show Margaret and her three sons living with Edwin and Susan Lamberth in Tallapoosa County. Family legend had it that John Oliver went to Texas and Margaret died before the family could join them. The Lamberth's raised the three sons. I am hoping that there are more King/Lamberth desendents that might could shed light on the ancestors of John Oliver King beyond his father William S. (who wasn't present on the census of 1870 with Rhoda and children in Cleburne Co, AL but can't find record of him dying in Civil War.) and also Susan Ann White, wife of Edwin Lamberth. I will glad to provide the extensive information I have on the ancestors of the Lamberth and Fitts lines. Thanks, Lynn King Shirley

    3. I do not have any thing on the 1850 census. You may find them in the 1855 census. For the 1855 Census of Tallapoosa County Alabama, go to this location: http://members.aol.com/GenWebLisa/1855tallapoosa.htm Search that list and you should find the TAYLOR and FAULK surname.
