    3. I am not the list maintainer for this website, but I am a list maintainer for three RootsWeb lists. Tim, the computer guru at RootsWeb is working hard to fix this problem. He is trying to see how it got through his filter. The situation on this site was worsened when everyone started reposting the offensive mail. If you ever see SPAM on a RootsWeb site, the place to report it to is NOT the list, but to ABUSE@RootsWeb.com. This mail that we all received yesterday was forwarded to Tim within 30 seconds of receiving it. Tim has been working on the situation. If you ever need to reach a list maintainer for any RootsWeb list you belong to, the easiest way is to use the list REQUEST address and in the subject line write "attention list owner" . Then in the body of your message, write whatever you have to say! Guarantee it will get their attention! 3. There has been a gross misunderstanding about my sending a distasteful message about a web site. I DID NOT send the original message; I only requested that it be checked out and removed from the list. I did not know how else to get the attention of the list owners. Hope this clears up my good name.

    3. Hi Glenda! I've got Kimbroughs in Tallapoosa Co., but I don't know much about them. I will forward the message I just sent to Jennifer, so you will see what little I do know. I'd be interested in seeing the Kimbrough photos you have - to get a flavor for family traits! If you have a way to scan them, and send on email, I can get attachments at my other email address: kathyhoover@worldnet.att.net (but not at this juno address). Or I would be happy to pay you for photocopies by snail mail... My mailing address is below. Several cousins have been searching for one Kimbrough grandpa for two years now and NOTHING - hope you'll be able to throw us a bone!
