Author: jf9183 Surnames: Pate, Farrell Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.alabama.counties.tallapoosa/4229/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Looking for an obituary or probate for Wiley T. Pate. He died in October of 1897 (exact date unknown). I am trying to determine what happened to his daughter, Martha Ella Pate. She could be the Ella Pate that married my great great great grandfather Charles Valentine Farrell, but I have not been able to find proof of this. She died in the first half of 1911 in Anniston AL. I am hoping a probate for Wiley will list his children. Also, his wife Martha was supposed to have died in Tallapoosa as well on February 9, 1919. She may list children of her children if some of her children had already deceased. Any help on this is appreciated, thanks so much!
