Possibly he might have dual citizenship, but this is unlikely if the family haven't lived in Albania for generations. He would be an Italian of Albanian extraction or an Italian of Albanian ancestry. Am I German because someone moved here from Germany in the 1880's? And all his decedents were born in the US?
