    3. Trying to trace a Constantin Baranoff, last heard of in Sacramento, probably around 1900. Anyone got any ideas on how to find him? He was born in Russia about 1857, moved to England where he became a naturalised British citizen. Some time in the 1880s he may have gone to New York and then by sea to California. -- Graeme Wall My genealogy website <www.greywall.demon.co.uk/genealogy>

Names of his parents, brothers and/or sisters, wife if he was ever married, his occupation, why he would have wanted to move to the US? In the 1930's and after there are entries with this surname in the Sacramento area and I'm speculating that they might be his son or some other namesake relative, but I was trying to find out if you might have information that might tie it all together.
